Hi All,
I am available for EME-tests on 1296 MHz during the day. I need just a short
notice to get on.
Drop me a line and we can have a try.
The moon will enter my western tree-horizon at about 14Z.

Contest rules are posted on

take the link to DUBUS EME pages to find the link to the rules in a pdf file.
I expect to be QRV for the 144-MHz digital championship:
7-30, 0000-0530z, ~0300 moonrise in EU
1800-2359z
7-31, 0000-0530z
calling freq: 144.116/144.148 1st
I have quiet hours 0800-1600z so QRT then.
High sun-noise starting 1430z so not sure if I will be QRV later on 7-31.

Hi all.
I am using Prositel rotors for my HF towers and eme system.
The old Prositel rotors are using motors with a fan. The motor is straight
up. What I have done is remove the fan of the motor and put a magnet on the
shaft, where the fan was.
A reed contact gives me the pulses I need. This is working fine!
The newer Prositel rotors have different motors with no fan...
I am using Green Heron control boxes to control all my rotors.
For the newer rotors I have to use the potentiometer. I don't like this
because calibration is difficult.
Is there anyone who uses a modern Prositel rotor with potentiometer who
CHANGED this to a reed contact system?
Of course the use of a rotary encoder is better but till now The Green Heron
Rotor box does not support this.

Hello All
Activity was better on 1296 today. I heard I5MPK and worked the following stations.W4AF, SP7DCS and SM6CSO.
Turn on your 1296 gear and make some contacts.
I spent too much money on this stuff to have you guys disappear.
